At AWSurrey International Women's Group, philanthropy lies at our core. Each year, our organization supports several selected local charities with the aim of making a difference to those in need. Through these partnerships, our members have the opportunity to enact immediate and enduring change and establish connections to our local Surrey community. Over £830,000 Raised Since 1981, we have proudly donated over £830,000 to Surrey based charities. This achievement reflects our dedication, hard work, and unwavering compassion. With each donation, we strive to leave a lasting impact, one charity at a time. |
Over 150 Charities Supported Throughout the years, we have supported over 150 local charities. These organizations address critical issues such as homelessness, childhood illness, domestic violence and mental illness, among others. Each charity we support embodies our commitment to creating a better world through collective action and compassion. |
Partnership with FAWCO AWS is a proud member of : AWS proudly partners with FAWCO - the Federation of American Women's Clubs Overseas, a network comprising 64 member clubs across 34 countries. This partnership allows us to extend our philanthropic efforts not only locally but also on an international scale. FAWCO's Mission FAWCO's Foundation is dedicated to advancing charitable, scientific, and educational programs, and advocating for the rights of women and children worldwide. Through our partnership, AWS actively supports these initiatives, contributing to the global community's welfare. Development Grant Fund Annually, AWS participates in the Development Grant Fund, which provides financial support to projects endorsed by FAWCO Member Clubs. This collaboration empowers us to make a meaningful impact across borders, aligning with our commitment to philanthropy and community service. |
